Product Description
This is a 1.75" x 8" block that has 5 positions for 10 rounds of 22 Long Rifle cartridges.
The pattern is for the S&W 617 10 Shot Revolver.
Placing the rounds into the loading block and then transferring them to the speed loader makes the loading process a snap.
These loading blocks fit well in the Pelican 1060 waterproof case.

Loading blocks for S&W 617
The loading block I just got is actually the second of these that I have purchased from Revolver Supply. Last your I bought one block along with the speed loader that RS sells. Both work great. It makes loading that 10 holed cylinder a lot easier. I definitely recommend these loading blocks.

Although the product functions adequately, many of the holes are not very round or uniform. There is a lot of play when holding ammo.

This is a great loading block. A cover that fits over the cartridges and block would have been a nice inclusion. GM- These fit into a standard Otter Water tight box.

Perfect companion to DS-10 loader
Taking a couple of these to the range already filled with ammo makes it easy to burn through a bunch of .22! Great setup, highly recommended.

At The Ready!
It's nice to have your shells ready to go. The blocks seem to be an efficient method for fast reloads at the range. The shells fit a little looser in the block than I imagined, necessitating you to use some kind of case to hold the shells in the block when transporting your preloaded blocks. All in all very satisfied.

Great for the hobbyist and competitive shooter alike
The loading block isn't absolutely necessary for the speed loaders, but it sure makes life easier. For casual plinking and target shooting, you can reload a single speed loader in under a second with this block, which means that you could do five full reloads without having to pause for more than a second or two. The block itself is pretty simple, but the holes are lined up perfectly and tucks into my range bag with ease.
