This is the checker for the 8 shot Model 627 revolver chambered in 38 Super; my favorite.
It will also work for the 8 shot 9 MM S&W revolvers but we have a moon clip checker designed just for that model.
This is used to check your moon clip without putting the ammunition into the chamber.
If the loaded moon clip fits in this checker, it will fit in your gun!
