Better thn teh facory moon clips
Great product. Had to emory a little but not too bad. So good i ordered the 10 pack. GM These clips work in a bit over half of the guns. Some folks even cleaned up the cylinder on a lathe. That's the root of the problem.

second set, no fit
This is the second set of two I've purchased for the Taurus 905, and like the initial pair, these too require filing to get them to fit. While it's easy enough to put these in a vise and take off a mil or two (5 times per clip). they still ought to be made to fit the revolver they are made for. for the fix details, see the earlier review GM- Yours was close. Others fit as is and others won't fit at all. Taurus can't make a consistent cylinder.

Doesn't fit until center hole enlarged
Since this is sold as a clip for the Taurus 5 shot 9mm 905, I ws surprised that I couldn't close the cylinder into the gun because the clip did not fit over the center machining in it. Had to file material off the inside of each holder slot to make it fit. Once reworked, the clip retained cartridges better than the factory-supplied ones. If this is what is sold as a clip to fit the Taurus 905, I suspect the maker ought to pay another visit to the drawing board. For those of you willing to dress the center hole of these clips, I suggest a vice and a 3-corner fine file. Lots cheaper than a Dremel tool. GM This is exactly why we offer 2 with free shipping for testing.

Needed A Little Tweeking
The moon clips didn't fit until I removed a small amount of material with a needle file. I can see why they're hard to fit because the center hub on my revolver is poorly machined and hasn't been deburred properly. I was impressed with the cartridge retention and had to make up a tool to remove the spent cases. There's no way a cartridge is going to come loose if you throw a clip in your pocket. GM- That's exactly what we see and why we created these 2 packs. I don't want to make the moon clip opening larger. It would weaken the clip. Thanks

We can make this work
I can use all 4 of my "samples" (yes I bought two packs). I would say all 4 are usable but the center hole needs to be dressed. If I can't find a suitable Dremmel tool as I don't own one, I might try a pencil with an emery cloth to make it work smooth. We are only talking a few thousandths. I am wondering if the machine shop could "smooth" a bit more from the center to get closer to 100% fit. I am just glad to get something that will work without breaking the bank. I can press these into place as is, but will smooth out. Thanks for this option!

Taurus 905 clips
Did not work center hole was to small GM- We're batting .500. That's why we offer this sample pack.

I appreciate the opportunity of buying only two trial Taurus 9mm clips.
In my Taurus 905 the clips did nor fit over the extractor hub, hence the revolver would not go into battery. GM - That's the problem. Some folks have a close fit and file the moon clips a bit.

Taurus 905 moonclips
These moonclips hold the cartridges very well, but the star cutout is just barely too small to fit my revolver. If that star cutout was .004 or .005 larger they would probably fit all the 905's. I opened the two I recieved from Revolver Supply for testing up just a tiny bit with my dremel and the hold the cartridges and they now fit quite well. GM Again that's the problem we're facing....Inconsistency in that center diameter. We're batting about 50%
